Ovarian Endometrioma (Endometriomas;자궁내막종)

: 자궁 내막에 있는 것과 동일한 액체로 채워진 낭종
: 내부의 액체는 '초콜릿 낭종(chocolate cysts)'이라 불리며 초콜릿 시럽과 비슷함
: 난소 자궁내막종이 있다는 것은 자궁내막증이 있다는 신호

: 자궁내막증(Endometriosis)이 있는 여성의 17~44%에서 나타남

 

 

 

자궁내막종 증상

---

: 골반의 통증, 압통
: 성교 중 통증(성교통)
: 소변, 배변 중 통증
: 허리 통증
: 구토
: 메스꺼움

 

 

 

자궁내막종 진단

---

: Laparoscopy(복강경검사)로 낭종을 제거하고 세포를 검사하여 자궁내막종을 진단함

: 낭종이 큰 경우 골반 검사로 확인할 수 있으며, US/CT/MR의 영상검사도 진단에 도움을 줄 수 있음

 

 

 

자궁내막종 치료

---

: 낭종이 작고 증상을 일으키지 않는 경우, 증상을 조절하며 경과관찰
: 통증이 심하거나, 4cm 큰 경우 복강경 검사를 권장

    -낭종이 이 크기에 도달하면 암이 될 위험이 높아짐

    -낭종을 제거하면 증상을 개선하는 데 도움

: 낭종 제거하는 수술 자체가 ovarian reserve(난소예비력)을 감소시킬 수 있으므로, 임신을 계획하고 있다면 신중해야 함

: 증상이 개선되지 않고 임신 계획이 없다면, 자궁적출술 또는 난소절제술을 권장할 수 있음
