토마스 검사 (Thomas test)

---

: Hip joint(고관절) 굴곡 구축(Contracture)을 평가하는 검사

1) 침대 끝에 앉고, 깍지 낀 손으로 한쪽 무릎을 가슴에 닿도록 잡기

2) 이 상태로 뒤쪽으로 머리를 대고 눕기

3) 이 검사를 통해 3가지를 확인

    -iliopsoas m.이 단축(short)됐다면, 허벅지가 테이블에 닿지 않는 positive sign

    -rectus femoris m.이 단축됐다면, 무릎이 펴지는 positive sign

    -tensor fascia latae가 단축됐다면, 다리가 외전된 psotivie sign
